7.5.7 download error website

Hi,
I am trying to download Windows 7.5.7 from the website, but when I open the file it doesn’t include the SMART run file.

Does anybody else has issues with 7.5.7?

Hi Elke,

This is fine. You will need to follow these steps:

  1. In your SMART desktop, navigate to “File” → “install New Plugins…”. Click the “Add” button. This will open a new window to add a repository. Select “Local” to access your computer storage.
  2. Navigate to the extracted folder “site_7.5.7-05302023” and select the folder “org.wcs.smart.updatesite-7.5.7-05262023”.
  3. Select all the plugins and click “Next”. This will begin to install the release version 7.5.7. Click “Next”, accept the terms of the license agreement and click “Finish” to complete the installation. Ignore the prompts by selecting “Install anyway” to complete the installation.

Once done, the application will ask to restart. Click “Restart now” to complete the upgrade process.

IT WORKED!!

Thank you for your support. I downloaded 7.5.7 as a plug in in 7.5.6 and managed to install. Now I can export packages to Mobile again.

I think the OP is still correct, in that the intention is to have a full 7.5.7 version downloadable from the site. I mentioned to the admin so I think it will get updated and that full version linked there soon.

The “Online Update Site” that is included in the software as the place to automatically look for updates has recently been updated to 7.5.7 as well, so using the “File”->“Check for Updates” button is now the easiest way to upgrade to 7.5.7 (as long as you have 7.5.X already).
