I am Shedrick from Liberia, we have issue in our team as to what constitutes a patrol. We normally conduct a patrol at the end of the month which ends up in the following month, but when we run the report the report, the same patrol will be accounted for separately in the two months. For example, a patrol was conducted for four days in April and ended on May 2nd during the same mission, but in the report under the total number of patrols, it was counted as one patrol in April and one patrol in May. Can anyone provide clarity on this issue please.
Hi Sheldrick. Even though this seems counterintuitive, what you describe is the expected behavior. SMART is telling you that there was a patrol in April and a Patrol in May. They were the same patrol, but both months had a patrol during that month. If this doesn’t work for you, a way around it is to use patrol days instead of number of patrols as your measure.
