I created a basemap stored as “default” in all my CAs; however, every time I open a CA, no basemap is displayed, even though I checked the box when saving the basemap to have it default. This issue is new as the basemap used to open upon logging into a CA. Now the basemap needs to be manually selected and then zoomed to in layer in order to display, which is confusing to some users. Has anyone else experienced any issue like this? Am I missing a step to automatically display the default basemap? Thank you!

Some basemaps have trouble rendering immediately upon login (for various reasons - size being one).
You should be able to simply select the icon above the map view to “zoom to full extent” which should immediately render the session basemap (default unless otherwise selected).
