Error with patrols downloading to Desktop

Hi community,

I am having trouble with one of my CAs. Since creating it it hasn’t managed to download any patrols without some errors occuring. Desktop version is 7.5.10, app version 576. I use the same desktop and mobile app for all my CAs. Only this CA has issues. I recently upgraded my phone to a newer andriod but still have this problem. Anyone had this same issue with one CA but not the other?

Sorry for the delayed reply.

Just to clarify, the issue is when you’re trying to process data into SMART desktop after being sent from the Mobile app (via Connect)?

A few things to check:

  1. Does the mobile package align with the data model? Is it possible the data model in the CA in question was tweaked since the Mobile package was created?

  2. The error log seems to be suggesting some issues with the mapping. “unable to cancel … Renderer” and “invalid category … operation.resourceCategory” messages are map UI noise often seen when a project file is stale; they don’t block imports but signal the CA’s map workspace may be messy. This could be an issue if you’re using offline maps on Mobile. If so, try without the map or create a new basemap.

  3. It could be an issue with the CA itself. Perhaps some corruption during the CA creation process. In which case I’d advise to export everything from the CA and use them to create a new CA.
