Exporting attachments in reports

@Elke and I are wondering if there is a possibility to export attachments from a package via a report. I have been successful with displaying a single photo in a report but not all of them.

Hi Luzy,

Yes, you can do this. Here’s how I would go about this:

  • Define the observation or incident query as needed
  • Open your report editor
  • Select Data Sets > New Data Set
  • Add Query Attachment
  • Add the data set from your saved queries
  • Drag the data set from the data sets folder into your editing window
  • Select the columns you want to show. Include the “attachment data” option & click OK
  • In the editing window, in the “attachment data” column, remove the [attachment data]
  • Then drag an image in from report items to this cell
  • Select dynamic image
  • Select the data you want to define the image (from the data set > attachment data)
  • Save

Then the table will show the observation/incident data you chose in step 7 and the image associated with it in the final column.
