Hello colleagues, just curious if anyone has tried to extract and export raw track log data from patrol files in SMART? It is great to be able to view and edit the raw data (individual GPS locations) in the daily patrol view but I can’t seem to find a way to extract or export the track data as a .gpx, .shp, or .csv or similar file. Please share if you have done this.
Thank you, Jeff
Interesting question, Jeff. I couldnt’t think of a simple way to do this off the top of my head. I looked back into the old forum archive and found this thread:

However, I don’t think that will answer your question? Please take a look and let us know.
Another option - though again I don’t know this gets you all the way to what you’re asking for:
- bring up the patrol you want to export in the patrol module
- Go to the map tab
- In the map layers pane on the left hand side of the screen, you can right click on the “Track” layer and export it as a shapefile (shp). From there you can manipulate that in GIS or do the file conversion alluded to in the old forum post.
