Incidents deleted during import

Hi everyone.

I spent the last two days collecting data in the field using a Motorola G7. I had been collecting data using an independent incidents package. I tried importing the incidents but when clicking import from device, it said no files imported and it seems to have erased them from the phone. So now there is nothing in the cybertracker folder on the phone and they obviously were not imported into the desktop system. Any ideas why this is happening? This is a fresh install of SMART on this device, but it is an old SMART system that I refurbished for a new project.

I have attached the error log (split into two for file size restrictions).

I am using SMART 8 for desktop.
I am using SMART mobile 1.0.465.

Thank you.
SMART Error Log 1.txt (2.8 MB)
SMART Error Log 2.txt (2.3 MB)

Edit: I just imported it manually as a file and it worked. So I think the error lies somewhere in the import from device.

I have just updated the SMART system from 8.0.3 to 8.1.0 and it is doing the same thing. I have also tested it on multiple devices and the problem occurs across devices. I have also tested it with a patrol package and the problem is the same. This was tested using multiple versions of SMART Mobile.

Thanks.

Hi Alex,

This issue is being investigated, and an update will be shared soon. This issue is persistent with SMART Mobile version 584. We tested on SMART 7.5.x and the same error is being experienced. For now, I would suggest using this workaround to avoid losing data: Navigate to “Settings icon”->“Exported data”-> Open the export file, share the json file then import the file on desktop.

Same problem on 582, and 585. But in 572 it’s works fine, exporting without error.
I want to ask how to find exported data on a smartphone?
