Hi Nick,
I’ve seen that error a couple of times when the desktop and Connect get out of sync – such as a conflicting change getting made on multiple desktops or a patrol getting edited when not all data was processed. I’ve been able to resolve this in the past by refreshing my desktop from Connect (Connect > Advanced Options > Replace CA with CA from Connect). I recommend saving a backup before doing so, and if you made any changes on the desktop that haven’t been synced yet, you may want to save them off first and reapply them afterwards.
Let me know if that takes care of it for you.
Matt
Hi Matt,
We have an error like this as well, but we are using SMART 8. Which should correct for any conflicting changes between Desktop and Connect, and just apply all of them.
Any advice on how to continue?
Kind regards,
Elke
Hi @matt.hron ,
Was wondering if you have any advice on this error in SMART 8?
Kind regards,
Elke
Hi Elke. I haven’t used SMART 8 yet and don’t have insight into how the conflict resolution will change that. I’ll see if I can find more information on that.
Thanks @matt.hron
Eventually I managed to sync with Connect by using the new functionality in SMART 8 to combine changes from Connect with local differences.
Normally this functionality works great. However, with the issue I explained above I just lost all my edits and had to redo all of them…
Still not sure what happened.
Just recording it here, in case anyone else has this in SMART 8 as well.
Kind regards,
Elke
