Issue with devices recording straight lines between waypoints

Hi Folks.

We recently upgraded from the Blackview 4700 to Blackview 5300. When the mobile package is uploaded and the map is viewed the patrol’s progress is no longer logged accurately and there are simply straight lines drawn between waypoints.

Has anybody else encountered this issue and how it fix it ?

Problem was solved by following the instructions here.

I have noticed, the new Blackviews tend to kill all background apps running, EVEN IF YOU SET IT NOT TO DO THAT. However, this is how my teams managed to resolve this:

  1. Do not lock your device screen or let it sleep while on patrol.
  2. Or you can make sure you get on to SMART mobile frequently while on patrol. Make sure you open the app every 10+ minutes.

Could you confirm what models exactly are having these issues and what OS version they are running?
