SERVER ERROR: 503 Service unavailable

Hi all,

I cannot access the SMART Connect server for 12 hours now. While accessing the SMART Connect server, the error shows as attached image. This happen in both SMART connect server and SMART desktop while trying to connect to connect serer.
Has anyone ever faced this before? Could you help me with ways to solve this?

Me too i have faced the same problem. My desktop app started with the notification “SMART could not find the trusted certificate” but today it the modal pops up with the message “Could not connect to smart connect: Not after: Sep 1”

Good morning All

Have you tried restarting the Desktop Application @Mac and then @Ahmun have you managed to re-connect to the server via the Browser or by Desktop?

So Mac, i got the same error this morning with having SMART Desktop open while on sleep. Once i restarted the laptop/program then the connection got restored.

Also trying to access the server via the Browser it has logged it corectly.
Is there anything else from your side that can indicate extra information on the error? maybe send through an error log?

Hi @djoachim,

I now have access to my SMART server via browser.
However I couldn’t connect the desktop with SMART Connect server. I still face Certificate and Not after errors same as @Mac. Restarting didn’t solve. Any suggestions?

Hi, I have the same error: No trusted certificate found - could not connect to Smart not after Sun 1 sept.
I am using on MacOs, I have already tried to restart

That is in a way a normal behavior when the certificate of the server does a due to expire and got replaced by a new one.
Smart Desktop and some browsers are caching the old certificate for better performance.
Restart of Desktop or explicit refresh of the browser will solve the issue

I set “always trust” in may browsers configuration, so now it works on web (via Chrome) but it still doesn’t work in Desktop Smart. I also lost the automatic login to the server in the Desktop (it seems that it not set anymore) , so when I try to re-insert my server I have the same error “No trusted certificate found”

Hi All

From the Connect Support guys

“This is being experienced because we updated the SSL certificate on our servers. Please restart the SMART Desktop and try again. It might take quite a few restarts of the desktop to clear the error.”

Please keep us in the loop and try this a couple of time s(maybe 3-4 times)

Now I can log in and I can download the data queue but I can’t sync changes to/from Connect

That screenshot shows a desktop CA that is not linked to a Connect server, that is why the sync options are greyed-out. Maybe you logged into to a different CA by accident? Otherwise you will need to re-download the CA to get it properly linked to the Connect-version.

Thank you but I’m connected to the correct CA, and I can download the data in Queue and apply changes to Packages and send to Mobile app
