Hi Lili,
No, for upgrades like this (7>8), you need to go through the full upgrade process.
If you’re using Connect, you need to install SMART 8, upgrade your server to version 8, and then download your CAs to SMART 8.
Alternatively, you need to complete a full system back up in your existing SMART (v7), install SMART 8 and use the “advanced” option to upgrade and/or restore back up.
