I have a question about a SMART Collect package. I set the package on “enable editing”. However, in SMART mobile it is not possible for Citizen Scientists to edit their data once saved. Is this a bug in the system?
I’m not allowed to disable automatic upload the Connect.

Hi Elke,
This is a similar issue we have with regular Connect enabled packages. Currently, if “automatically upload…” is selected it overrides the setting to “enable editing”.
For Collect, this feature is always turned on and thus, currently, editing after the observation is saved is not possible. We’re currently looking into expanding the SMART Collect functionality. We can review the ability to edit observations before they are submitted. Thanks.

Clear, thanks for the explanation.
It would be very helpful if those two settings could be separated from each other, allowing us to enable editing for CS data. Often guides, lodges, operators that help us collect data, still need to edit some things later on (after their drive for example).
