Solicito ayuda para importar un track en KMZ al armar manualmente una patrulla, solo toma archivos GPX y no logro encontrar un conversor que el smart de escritorio me lo tome como valido
Hi Antuel,
You will need to convert it to import to SMART. Here’s a few possible options:
- Download GPSBabel: https://www.gpsbabel.org/
- Open GPSBabel.
- Input Format:
Google Earth (Keyhole) Markup Language (.kml/.kmz) - Output Format:
GPX XML - Click Convert.
- Import the resulting
.gpxinto SMART Desktop under:
OR
- Open the
.kmzin Google Earth Pro. - Right-click the track > Save Place As…
- Choose
.kmlas format. - Use an online converter like GPS Visualizer: Convert GPS files to plain text or GPX to convert
.kml→.gpx.
If SMART Desktop says the GPX is invalid:
- Ensure it includes a
<trk>(track) section, not just<wpt>(waypoints). - Strip out time or elevation tags if needed (use GPSBabel to simplify).
Please let us know if any of these options work.
Cheers,
Alex
