There is a faulty patrol in our system which is 50 years long (some sort of date glitch). However, when I attempt deleting this patrol SMART crashes and I am forced to restart my computer. Is there an alternate way to remove this bug?
Have you tried chasing the start and end dates first?
Do you have a backup, that does not have this date glitch? Changing the end start date is an option. However, i would try to locate a backup prior to the date glitch and restore it, then i would export the patrols from the CA with the Glitch (except the patrol with Glitch) that you dont have on the CA that you just restored, and import. Verify you have your patrols and data complete then proceed in deleting that CA. You can also reach me at 6378225.

I canβt even view the data without crashing the system.
Hi Riley,
You can try allocating more RAM to SMART to see if this helps with the crashing issue.
First, perform a full system backup and close SMART. Next, open the directory in which SMART is located, find the SMART .ini file, open this in a text editor and change the line β-xmx2048β to β-xmx4096β. Then save the file and reopen SMART.
This might help prevent the software from timing out and crashing each time.
Cheers,
Alex
