"Use with SMART Integrate" - what does it do?

Hi all,
Neither me nor MS AI could find any info about the functionality of checkbox “Use with SMART Integrate”. This seems to be the new option/feature in SMART 7.5.7.

I ticked it and see that in Configured Data Model there is one more option when configuring Categories: “SMART Integrate Incident Type” which offers to: “Create unassociated incident”, “Add Incident to Patrol” or Associate incident to Patrol". The first two options seems understandable, but the last one is unclear to me. For what situations would this option be useful?
